Brooklyn Crescents Launches Two New Lacrosse Programs: Crescents Little Lax LIC and Crescents Queens Lacrosse

Brooklyn, NY - August 2024 - The Brooklyn Crescents, a premier youth lacrosse organization dedicated to growing the sport in New York City, is excited to announce the launch of two new programs: Crescents Little Lax LIC and Crescents Queens Lacrosse Program.

Crescents Queens Lacrosse Program
Launching on October 5 at Cunningham Park, this program is designed for boys and girls in grades 3-8. It will begin as a clinic-style program with one practice per week this fall and will expand into a full program in Spring 2025. This initiative offers a fantastic opportunity for young athletes in Queens to develop their lacrosse skills and passion for the game. The Crescents Queens Lacrosse Program is set to expand into a full program in Spring 2025, providing boys and girls in the Queens area the opportunity to develop their skills and passion for lacrosse. Register Here

Crescents Little Lax LIC
This program is tailored for young athletes in grades K-4 and will be held at Murray Playground in Long Island City. Starting on September 28, sessions will run every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM through November 3. The program focuses on introducing the fundamentals of lacrosse in a fun, supportive environment.

Coaching Opportunities
The Brooklyn Crescents are actively seeking coaches for our programs. If you are a high school student interested in serving as an apprentice coach for volunteer hours, or if you are a recent college player or someone with experience in lacrosse, we invite you to join our team. Founded in 2006, the Brooklyn Crescents have been a cornerstone in the NYC lacrosse community, offering comprehensive youth lacrosse programs that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. With programs held at Poly Prep in Brooklyn, the Crescents provide high-quality training and competitive play opportunities for boys and girls from PreK through high school.
